Detail

Description

Rectangular cotton cloth worn as a wrap-around skirt. For the red warp thrads a modern dye was used, traditional indigo was used for the dark-blue warp threads. The stylised human figures were made using the tie-dye technique.

Collected near Banaue, 1987

Dimensions: Length: 110 cm. width: 75 cm.
