Countries in Asia without tiger bells
The only countries in East and South Asia where until now no tiger bells are reported, are North and South Korea, Japan, Sikkim and Cambodia. It is very unlikely that tiger bells do not occur in these countries (with a possible exception for Japan).
The distribution patterns becomes more scattered when one goes to the West (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey). However, countries where no tiger bells are reported and where, based on recent reports from neighbouring countries, it is very well possible that they do occur, are mostly in the not easily accessible areas in islamic Asia. Therefore we ask readers from and travellers to these countries to look around in museums, shops, libraries, villages, etc. All your information is welcome!
